What you’ll do
We are looking for an Engineering Supervisor to join the team at Novotel & Adagio Al Bustan Abu Dhabi, Under the guidance of the Chief Engineering. you’ll be responsible for maintaining the equipment and all aspects related to preventive and corrective maintenance of all areas of the hotel (Pool, common areas, kitchens, rooms, etc.):
– Supervise and provide constructive feedback to all team members to ensure safe work practices, efficient operation, proper preventive maintenance and equipment repair practices, efficient operation, proper preventative maintenance, and repair to equipment.
– Assist in the preparation of consumption reports on power, water, steam, and gas.
– Ensure that maintenance & repairs performed by contractors are executed in accordance with agreed health and safety policy, contracts, fees or charges.
– Perform maintenance as necessary.
– Train and supervise the maintenance team.
– Attend all types of repair and maintenance work on hotel facilities.
– Participate in the hotel’s energy conservation program.
– Respond to all requests for work, repairs and maintenance work.
– Look for any products related to the building structure to ensure adequate stock levels.
– Perform maintenance and repairs of various types of equipment, such as laundry, kitchen, heating, ventilation, air conditioning equipment, including pumps, motors, fans, water treatment plant, sewage plant, electricity generators, lights, CCTV, telephone, TV, fire and life safety equipment and systems, among others.
– Assist the Chief Engineering in preparing monthly maintenance status reports.
– Prepare a spare parts list for engineering requirements.
– Assist the Chief Engineering in structuring the team’s workload to ensure projects are completed on time.
– Monitor teamwork and ensure deadlines are met and work is completed to an established standard and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
Requirements:
Qualifications
– Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
– With atleast 1-2 years of hotel experience
– Good leadership skills
– Can work in a fast phase working environment
