We are looking for a Backend Engineer for founding team to join our growing team and play a key role in developing and maintaining our core applications, with an eye towards incorporating AI functionalities in the future.

Responsibilities:

1. Architect, design, and implement complex backend systems using Java and Springboot framework, ensuring scalability and performance.
2. Develop and optimize high-performance RESTful APIs to handle large-scale data exchange with front-end applications.
3. Lead the backend development process throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance.
4. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and design patterns.
5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, QA testers, product managers, and data scientists, to deliver innovative solutions that integrate AI capabilities.
6. Conduct thorough code reviews, providing mentorship and constructive feedback to junior developers.
7. Implement advanced algorithms and data structures to solve complex backend challenges and optimize system performance.
8. Stay at the forefront of Java, Springboot, and related technologies, including AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and apply this knowledge to improve existing systems.
9. Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions that shape the future of our backend infrastructure.

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on Java and Springboot.
2. Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing complex, scalable backend systems.
3. Advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
4. Proven experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and advanced SQL querying techniques.
5. Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
6. Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of optimizing algorithms and improving system performance.
7. Experience in competitive programming or solving complex coding challenges on platforms like LeetCode, HackerRank, or CodeForces.
8. Familiarity with AI concepts and their application in backend development, including experience integrating AI models into backend systems.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
10. Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring junior developers and driving technical initiatives.
