As part of our Marketing team, you’ll be at the forefront of driving online growth for our French-speaking markets. You’ll take ownership of updating our French, Swiss and Belgian websites, crafting engaging e-newsletters, and coordinating sponsored link campaigns alongside our central team. You’ll also manage performance analysis, develop web partnerships, and take charge of our French social media channels.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a key role in completing and implementing digital marketing strategies, working closely with the Marketing Manager – Southern Europe and central teams. Your focus will be driving online sales for the French, Belgian, and Swiss markets, ensuring that our campaigns are impactful.

The Role

We are open to remote working candidates. If you live within a commutable distance of our Castelnaudary office we would love for you to work in the office from time to time to collaborate with the team. This role is for a start date of 1st December 2024 and the contract will be 11 months running through to November 2025.

What you will be doing

Website Management:

  • Perform daily website checks to ensure optimal functionality, including the booking system.
  • Design, translate, and upload engaging content (French/English) to keep the websites fresh and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate bi-monthly with central teams on SEO, PPC, and more to align strategies.

E-newsletters:

  • Translate and localize e-newsletters via HubSpot for the French-speaking markets.
  • Analyze email campaign performance, tracking return on investment through Google Analytics and HubSpot.
  • Keep a close eye on competitor activity across e-commerce and digital marketing channels.

Communication & Advertising:

  • Identify, negotiate, and implement web partnerships that improve visibility and reach.
  • Implement and supervise online partnerships through newsletters, banners, and other formats.
  • Launch and track online ad campaigns, measuring effectiveness via Google Analytics.

SEO Optimization:

  • Optimize website content for French-speaking domains, working alongside the central SEO team to implement SEO strategies.

Social Media:

  • Run and monitor French-speaking social channels like Facebook and Instagram (via HubSpot).
  • Develop and implement engaging content that aligns with larger marketing strategies.
  • Organize and run social media competitions to boost engagement.

Brochures & Translation:

  • Translate brochures and other key commercial documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Reporting:

  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on email campaigns and partnership performance.

What we are looking for

  • Proven digital marketing experience with a focus on key areas, website management, content creation and reporting and analytics.
  • Key Attributes: Dynamic, proactive, and autonomous with strong creativity, organization, communication, and French writing skills. Able to react quickly and work flexibly in a team-oriented environment.
  • Bilingual: Fluent in both French and English (Spanish or Italian would be a plus!).
  • Tech-Savvy: CMS platforms like WordPress, proficient in Photoshop and Google Analytics. Knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot). Strong Excel skills.

A good understanding of the travel and tourism sector is also a real plus.
