Key Responsibilities
- Manage all core HR functions, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Act as the go-to advisor for client HR inquiries, fostering strong relationships while providing expert guidance.
- Ensure full compliance with New Zealand employment laws through audits and investigations, helping clients remain compliant.
- Lead the development and implementation of HR policies and support clients through organizational change.
- Provide training and development workshops to client teams, ensuring continuous growth and improvement.
- Prepare insightful HR reports to guide client decision-making and improve HR processes.
What You Bring
- A minimum of 4 years of HR experience, especially in employee relations and recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work remotely and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with experience juggling multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with tikanga Māori or basic Te Reo Māori is preferred.
- Willingness to travel within Napier and Hawke’s Bay to meet with clients as needed.
