Job Overview

We are in search of a proactive Transcription Supervisor to join our innovative team in a fully remote capacity. This role is pivotal in developing, training, and supervising Transcription Project Managers and Legal Transcriber/Editors, reflecting our unwavering dedication to exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership skills, excellent organizational capabilities, and a meticulous attention to detail. Effective communication and the ability to perform under pressure are critical for successful management of various transcription projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and motivate a team of Transcription Project Managers and Legal Transcriber/Editors to ensure the delivery of high-quality work and superior client service.
  • Oversee the comprehensive transcription process, including the receipt of audio files, task assignments, deadline tracking, quality assurance, and the certification of final transcripts.
  • Engage with senior management to introduce and execute new policies and process improvements.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the Litigation Technology Management team concerning any job submission issues.
  • Manage staffing fluctuations to guarantee adequate support during operational hours.
  • Conduct regular individual meetings with team members to promote development and open dialogue.
  • Create training materials and lead team training sessions.
  • Propose enhancements to departmental processes and workflows to optimize performance.
  • Address urgent inquiries that arise after standard business hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a customer service role.
  • At least 2 years of management experience.
  • Familiarity with the transcription and/or court reporting industry is preferred.
