Overview

Are you a skilled leader experienced in driving successful marketing projects/events and nurturing client relationships? If you’re a master of project and account management within the marketing world, we have an exciting role designed just for you!

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Marketing Account Manager to join our Team. As the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, you’ll be responsible for building strong and trusting relationships and ensuring that strategic XM marketing initiatives are successfully delivered. We’re looking for someone with a strategic mindset, creativity, and attention to detail to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

The Account Manager is a pivotal role in strategizing, managing, and carrying out multiple projects of varying size and complexity. You’ll interact with clients while being self-sufficient, ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish. Our ideal candidate will be multi-faceted, showcasing the ability to handle diverse and complex marketing initiatives simultaneously while having experience with on-site event management.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The primary functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

Project & Account Management

  • Collaborate & strategize with clients and teams to outline project objectives, requirements, and deliverables, ensuring clear understanding.
  • Create detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines
  • Manage client marketing projects from onboarding to reporting while building client relationships
  • Optimize resource allocation to enhance team productivity and project efficiency.
  • Analyze project performance, generate insights, and present recommendations to clients and leaders.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding the scope of projects with prospective and existing clients.

Team Management & Accountability

  • Lead strategic meetings and presentations, providing insights to your potential team and clients, aligning with shared goals.
  • Foster strong relationships across teams, promoting collaboration and communication
  • Define roles and responsibilities, motivate team members to achieve project goals, and inspire a positive work environment.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Work remotely with the independence to complete tasks efficiently

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a project manager, account manager, or similar role, preferably in a marketing agency environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Project Management, or Communications is an asset.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft office, Salesforce experience considered an asset
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada (permanent Canadian resident or a valid working permit or visa)
  • Ability to travel to and from events – Drivers license considered an asset
  • Resident of Toronto, GTA and vicinity preferred for commuting to/from activations
  • Previous experience working with marginalized or diverse communities, with cause-focused brands, and on CSR/ESG initiatives an asset

  • Managing time well, meeting deadlines, and using foresight to anticipate potential challenges are key for maintaining project momentum.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
