Why our client is hiring for this position/mission

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our team and help us build intuitive, user friendly, beautiful, and effective design solutions. You will work closely with the Product Owner to create designs using Figma, from initial wireframes to fully developed mockups and prototypes, which

will later be implemented by our development team. Your designs must be optimized for seamless conversion to Next.js using JSX and CSS, so an understanding of how front-end developers translate design into code is essential

Team

You will be reporting to the Product owner.

Responsibilities:

• Collaboratively work with the Product Owner to produce minimalistic wireframes that capture the essence of new features and user flows before more detailed work is done.
• Develop these wireframes into fully fleshed-out Figma designs that are ready for handoff to the development team.
• Ensure designs are user-friendly, visually appealing, and meet product requirements.
• Design-to-Code Optimization: Collaborate closely with developers to ensure that Figma designs can be smoothly.
• Converted components into Next.js using JSX and CSS, reducing bottlenecks and ensuring high-quality implementation.
• Stay up to date on best practices for design-to-code processes and help streamline these workflows.
• Effectively communicate design decisions, priorities, and timelines to both the development team and other stakeholders.
• Attend all Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, planning sessions, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as UX/UI Designer
• Proven expertise in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and creating high-fidelity UI designs.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create minimalistic and functional designs.
• Knowledge of how Figma designs are converted into Next.js using JSX and CSS.
• Ability to identify potential design-to-code bottlenecks and work with developers to ensure smooth transitions from design to development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
• Proactive problem-solving attitude and willingness to contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Adaptability to an Agile environment and flexibility to iterate on designs as requirements evolve.
• Experience working in e-commerce or online marketplaces.
• Familiarity with basic front-end development concepts and tools.

Timezone

• You must be willing to work from 9am to 5pm ET.

Recruitment Process

1 Screening with Manager (30 mins): Introductory call to assess basic fit and discuss the role.

2 – Technical Interview – 1 hour
