Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our innovative team in a fully remote setting. This pivotal role will involve redefining our IT service delivery through the implementation of Agile methodologies across diverse areas such as web services, engineering, operations, security, and cutting-edge technologies. Your expertise will contribute to the development of a customized Agile framework, and you will have the opportunity to mentor team members in its execution while applying change management principles effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate productive sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, story grooming, and insightful retrospectives.
• Train and onboard new Product Owners on Agile principles, frameworks, and tools.
• Assist in the preparation of sprint reviews and demonstrations that highlight team accomplishments.
• Provide guidance in crafting user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and other essential elements of Agile documentation.
• Support the Product Owner in prioritizing stories and managing an effective backlog.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize velocity and enhance sprint capacity.
• Mentor and coach clients on Agile and Scrum best practices to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• A minimum of 3 years of experience applying Agile frameworks in IT project environments.
• Proven capability to translate business needs into technical solutions, designs, and strategic roadmaps.
• Exceptional skills in facilitation, particularly in requirements gathering and strategic planning.
• Advanced proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, and similar applications.
• Ability to navigate uncertainty and adapt to swiftly changing client demands.
• At least one Agile certification (e.g., CSPO or higher, PSPO or higher).

Qualifications

• A strong desire to develop as a consultant and assume greater responsibilities in project acquisition and delivery.
• Preferred experience: 1+ years collaborating with federal clients, 1+ years in a DevOps environment, and experience leading organizational design and change management initiatives.
• Familiarity with cloud services, cloud migration, and IT support processes.
