What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Develop compliant Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to formalize program objectives and resources
Prepare Gantt, PERT, and resource utilization charts to identify project milestones and relationships
Collaborate with Program Manager and Program Finance to develop estimates to complete (ETCs) and variance reports
Perform risk analysis and provide weekly/monthly project status updates, including earned value performance
Participate in the program proposal process and ensure understanding of various contract types

What Is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of directly related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Familiarity with guidelines for program planning and control such as GAO Schedule Assessment Guide and EIA-748 Standard for Earned Value Management Systems
Must be a U.S. citizen and meet DRS security standards, including obtaining necessary security clearance
Experience in risk analysis and project management techniques
Knowledge of earned value management concepts and metrics

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience working with defense contracts and understanding of various contract types, including cost-plus, T&M, and FFP
Previous participation in scheduling status reviews and project management teams
Familiarity with NDIA Planning & Scheduling Excellence Guide and DoD Earned Value Management Implementation Guide
Demonstrated ability to perform “what if” scenario analysis for program management
Proven track record of successful project schedule configuration management
