What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Conduct technical analysis of biogas and solid waste projects in California and the Western United States
• Oversee all phases of projects from investigation to construction, including preparation of drawings and reports
• Design biogas collection systems and prepare construction plans and specifications
• Manage project schedules and budgets effectively while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Prepare permit documents and oversee construction projects for adherence to engineering standards

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Geological, or Environmental Engineering or an allied field
• 4-10 years of experience in engineering projects
• Valid driver’s license
• Professional Engineer certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical reports

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
• Supervisory experience in engineering projects
• Experience with biogas and landfill gas systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D or GIS
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and PDF editors (Bluebeam or Adobe)
