OVERVIEW

Vaco Dallas is seeking a motivated Senior Infrastructure Project Manager for a fully remote direct hire opportunity. Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to lead large-scale infrastructure projects with a strong focus on cloud migrations and data center transitions. This role involves managing end-to-end project execution, ensuring alignment with business goals, and overseeing cloud adoption, particularly within platforms like Azure. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in infrastructure and cloud technology, along with strong leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will offer over seven years of experience with proven experience in Azure Cloud Migration Infrastructure Projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead cross-functional teams, coordinating internal and external resources for optimal performance.
• Track project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to financial goals.
• Ensure smooth post-migration operations, adhering to governance and compliance standards.
• Lead full-scale infrastructure projects, including data center and cloud migrations (primarily Azure).
• Develop and manage project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, risks, and budgets.
• Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to design and implement migration strategies.
• Manage stakeholder and vendor communications, ensuring alignment and timely project updates.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, troubleshoot issues, and resolve roadblocks.
• Maintain project documentation, including status reports and compliance records.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree or certifications preferred).
• 7+ years of IT project management experience, specifically in infrastructure and cloud migration (Azure preferred).
• 2+ years of infrastructure project management experience, specifically in Cloud Migrations
• Experience with data center architecture, networking, and Azure migration tools (Azure Migrate, ASR).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

In our commitment to transparency throughout the hiring process, we provide a target annual base salary range of $115,000 – $125,000 for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) experience, work location, and skills.
