Our client is the leading ‘no code’ solutions provider for the financial services sector, with a focus on expanding their footprint further in the Australian market.Â
To add to the Sydney based Australian team, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager, the BDM will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of the business through strategic partnerships, client acquisition, and market expansion efforts. The successful incumbent will leverage their strong industry knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and proven record of accomplishment in business development to identify new opportunities, cultivate relationships, and drive revenue growth.
Your key responsibilities will include;
Â- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies.
- Product Demonstration: Present software demos and successfully guide prospects through the buying process;
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and potential areas for business expansion.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long- lasting relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and foster collaboration.
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, networking and targeted outreach efforts.
- Proposal Development: Lead the development of compelling proposals, presentations and pitches.
- Negotiation and Closure: Negotiate favourable terms and agreements with clients and partners to secure new business deals and partnerships.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring: Track, analyse, and report on key performance metrics and business development activities.
The ideal candidate will have a proven record of successfully identifying new opportunities, cultivating relationships and driving revenue growth and achieving targets. Experience in the financial services sector is essential.Â
To be successful in this role you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal and stakeholder relationship management skills as well as be resilient, motivated, and possess a high level of analytical thinking. The ability to work autonomously, manage deadlines under pressure, and stay informed about industry trends are all essential.Â
This is a full-time hybrid ongoing role, working 4 days a week from the Sydney CBD office and working 1 day a week from home. Competitive salary and benefits package on offer, including performance-based incentives and opportunities for career growth and advancement on offer.
