SOFTWARE ENGINEER (.net core and AWS)

About this role: 

We are seeking a talented production support engineer who have 4+ years of experience in production support / troubleshooting web application using their knowledge in .net Core and AWS Cloud programming. Should have a passion to work in a start-up culture.

What you’ll do:  

• Production Support for in house middleware application during US hours
• Troubleshoot / debug issues using .net core, AWS logs, postgresql database queries and other tools
• Liaison between client support team and our development team
• Fix minor defects and escalate major ones to development team
• Adhere to SLAs and create appropriate metrices

What you’ll need: 

Software professional with hands-on experience in distributed architecture development, resolving performance issues in SAS hosted setup and solution design using .net Core, JavaScript / TypeScript, background services and REST APIs in combination with AWS Cloud serverless services. Experience in HR and Payroll domain would be a plus.  

Must have skills: 

• Hands-on programming experience in

1. .net Core
2. Restful APIs
3. Entity Framework
4. Angular 17 or equivalent front-end framework                                                                                                

• Create / amend complex SQL queries and functions                            
• Excellent understanding of coding standards and usage of version controls
• Has worked previously in Production Support with focus on meeting SLAs and prepare metrices on regular basis
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience in AWS Cloud Services like Lambda, SQS, Cloud Watch, etc

Other skills:

• SAM, Jenkins, or equivalent CI/CD tools
• Cron Jobs

Who you are: 

• Excellent communication and prioritisation skills.
• Knowledge of foreign languages such as Spanish / Portuguese is a plus.
• Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE environment.
• Able to work / adapt in start-up culture
• MUST work in US shift (7 pm – 4 am IST)
