Who we are

We’re a close-knit group of folks who are passionate about delivering value to our clients. Our team is helping one of our government clients build effective communications and outreach for their internal IT organization. 

 

What you’ll do

We have an ambitious roadmap and as a member of our team, you’ll work with clients to manage their communications, produce meaningful interactions, and build strong relationships with both parties along the way. 

 

Role Description

In this position, you will be part of a team that is responsible for initiating, planning, and managing external communication activities for our client. You will create strategies, develop messaging, and promote the client and its programs across various channels. We are looking for a utility player who enjoys multi-tasking and has a high attention to detail. Your duties will vary but you can expect to develop talking points and presentations; draft/review internal communications, reports, and memoranda; and assist with the coordination of enterprise-wide meetings and working groups. 

 

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Developing and executing communication strategies 
  • Coordinating communication programs 
  • Drafting talking points, collateral material, and presentations 
  • Coordinating enterprise-wide meetings 

 

What you need to apply

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field 
  • 8+ years’ experience in a corporate environment; client service experience a plus 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in one or more specialized areas such as emergency operations/response, risk management, policy analysis, public/external affairs, and program management, which will be essential to support our communications strategies. 
  • Be a strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively across an organization 
  • Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills 
  • Proven ability to independently manage several projects simultaneously and to produce measurable results 
  • US citizenship 
  • Ability to travel up to 25% when necessary 
  •  

You’ll get extra credit for

  • Experience with government contracts 
  • Advanced degree or certifications 
  • Expertise in strategic communication, engagement, and training 
  • Graphic design skills 
  • Writing skills 
  • An understanding of federal IT environments 
  • Government clearance a plus 
  • Section 508 knowledge
