Python Developer W Airflow Etl (Remote)

Details of the role:

We are looking for a highly motivated ETL Python developer with RESTful APIs and Airflow experience.

Any cloud experience, like Google Cloud, will be an added advantage.

Key responsibilities:

• Review code written by team members to ensure it meets coding standards, follows best practices and maintains high code quality
• Collaborate with architects and other stakeholders to design robust, scalable and efficient applications
• Provide technical guidance to other development team members. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance to the team in diagnosing and resolving applications problems and bugs
• Contribute to coding tasks and resolve technical challenges in complex or critical areas of the project
• Collaborate with Project Managers, product owners and stakeholders to define project scope, set goals, and create project plans, including timelines and resource allocation
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure project deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality
• Work closely with business analysts and project management to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure that code, architecture, and technical documentation are up-to-date and well maintained
• Provide regular project status updates and reports to project management and stakeholders

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Python development, with a strong understanding of the language’s core concepts and best practices.
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Proficient in building RESTful APIs, designing clean and maintainable code, and working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Expertise in developing ETL scripts and data processing pipelines.
• Experience in workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow.
• Experience in writing automated tests and setting up CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with backend development frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI.

Good to have skills:

Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.

Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery
