Job Summary

In this pivotal role with IAIC, you will be responsible for driving the development of innovative software solutions that meet our customers’ needs. Your deep understanding of product management and your commitment to customer-centricity will enable you to create impactful products that solve real-world problems. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and engage directly with customers to ensure our solutions deliver maximum value.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to deeply understand their needs and pain points, using insights to shape product features and prioritize development.
Market Understanding/Competitive Insights: Develop a clear understanding of pains points and availability of alternatives and maintain knowledge of these insights. Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, bringing fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the team. Perform periodic updates to management and other stakeholders as needed.
Needs Identification and Translation: Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather detailed product needs, translating them into actionable formats as required by the members of the overall product development team.
Roadmap Management: Create and maintain a flexible product roadmap that prioritizes features based on customer feedback, market trends, and business impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
User Experience Advocacy: Champion a user-centric approach throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that user feedback and usability testing are integral to the development process.
Performance Measurement: Define success metrics and KPIs for product features, using data-driven insights to guide continuous improvement and product iterations.

Required Skills & Abilities

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex customer needs into actionable product strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and user experience design principles.
A customer-centric mindset, driven by a passion for building solutions that genuinely address user needs.

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
2+ years of direct experience in product management, with a proven track record in software development and delivering customer-focused solutions. 5 years of professional experience.
Experience in a startup environment, demonstrating agility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting preferred.

Other

Some domestic (US) travel is required.
