Job Description:

PK Photography & Web Services is seeking a skilled and experienced website developer with expertise in React.js to create dynamic and tech-packed websites. Knowledge of WordPress is an added advantage. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern web development practices and be able to craft responsive, fast, and scalable websites. We welcome freelancers, part-time professionals, and full-time candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop highly interactive websites using React.js and front-end technologies.
• Build responsive and mobile-first designs that deliver excellent user experiences.
• Implement robust, dynamic, and feature-packed web applications.
• Work with RESTful APIs, third-party services, and integrations.
• Maintain and improve the performance of existing websites, ensuring optimal loading speed and security.
• Develop and customize websites using WordPress when required.
• Stay updated with new trends and technologies to continuously improve the technical quality of websites.

Required Skillsets:

• React.js: Expertise in building single-page applications and using state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
• Front-end Technologies: Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) to build user interfaces.
• Responsive Design: Ability to create websites that work flawlessly across devices using frameworks like Bootstrap or CSS-in-JS solutions.
• JavaScript Frameworks: Familiarity with libraries like Next.js or Gatsby to enhance React projects for server-side rendering or static sites.
• API Integration: Experience with RESTful APIs to fetch data dynamically and display it on websites.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git for code management and collaboration.
• Cross-Browser Compatibility: Knowledge of ensuring compatibility across different web browsers.
• Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing websites for fast load times using techniques like lazy loading, code splitting, and caching.
• Back-end Technologies (Optional): Understanding of Node.js or Express.js is a plus for full-stack development.

WordPress Knowledge (Optional but Preferred):

• Custom theme development and plugin customization.
• Experience with Elementor Pro or similar builders.
• Ability to optimize WordPress websites for security, speed, and SEO.

Additional Skillsets for Tech-Packed Websites:

• State Management: Knowledge of state management using tools like Redux or MobX.
• Progressive Web Apps (PWAs): Experience with building PWAs for enhanced user experience.
• API Integrations: Familiarity with third-party APIs, such as payment gateways, Google Maps API, and social media APIs.
• Security Best Practices: Awareness of web security practices to prevent issues like XSS, CSRF, and securing user data.
• Testing Frameworks: Experience with Jest, Cypress, or similar tools for writing and running unit and integration tests.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in working with GraphQL for optimized data fetching.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for both React.js and WordPress sites.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automating deployments.
• Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles to work alongside designers.
