Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Web Scraper Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web scraping and data extraction using Java, Python, and Node.js. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web scrapers to collect and process data from various websites and online sources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web scrapers using Java, Python, and Node.js.
• Extract, clean, and organize data from various websites and online sources.
• Monitor and ensure the reliability and performance of web scrapers.
• Implement solutions to handle changes in website structures and scraping challenges.
• Collaborate with data analysts and other team members to understand data requirements.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards for web scraping.
• Document scraping processes and maintain code repositories.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in web scraping using Java, Python, and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in using libraries and frameworks such as BeautifulSoup (Python), Scrapy (Python), Jsoup (Java), and Puppeteer (Node.js).
• Experience with HTTP requests, web scraping techniques, and data extraction.
• Familiarity with handling CAPTCHA and other anti-scraping mechanisms.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Understanding of data processing and analysis tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
