To effectively test our products, you need to be able to read and write code. You are knowledgeable about web application architecture, data communication protocols, and software development lifecycle. 

YOUR ROLE AS QUALITY ASSURANCE TELECOM ENGINEER 

As Quality Assurance Telecom Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain tests, for new and existing products, to ensure consistent high quality. 

You will need to review product requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide a test strategy in close cooperation with other QA engineers, development and product team. 

You will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches and new releases, and ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs. 

You will also liaise with development and product teams to identify requirements and estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities.  

You will identify, record, document and monitor bugs, and track quality assurance metrics. 

You will put into action your software testing skills and, together, we will build a state-of-the-art framework for UI and backend testing responsibilities. 

WHAT WE VALUE 

• Bachelor’s Degree and above in Computer Science, Informatics Engineering or other related engineering discipline 
• Minimum 3 years experience in similar positions 
• TCP/IP model Layer 2-3 Ethernet/VLAN/TCP/IP understanding 
• Understanding of mobile telecom concepts based on 3GPP standards and protocols, and  knowledge of basic callflows in 3G, LTE, VoLTE and 5G 
• Background in protocols such as SIP, ISUP, MAP, CAP, GTP, Diameter 
• Exposure to Wireshark packet analysis 
• Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging 
• Experience in Linux 
• Familiarity with Jira 
• Experience in Jenkins, Cucumber, Behave or similar test automation suites is considered a plus 
• Fluency in English
