Senior Backend Engineer (Remote)

Role Overview:

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Lumenalta, you will design and implement robust backend systems, ensuring our applications are secure, scalable, and efficient. You will be responsible for working closely with DevOps and frontend teams to deliver high-performance applications that leverage AWS cloud services and Kubernetes. Your role will also involve managing infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CDK and monitoring systems with tools like Grafana and Loki. • s:Backend Development: Build, maintain, and optimize backend systems using Python and integrate with cloud services on AW
• S.Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design and deploy AWS infrastructure, leveraging services like EC2, Lambda, RDS, and S3, with an emphasis on scalability and securit
• y.Kubernetes Orchestration: Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring proper scaling, load balancing, and orchestratio
• n.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform or AWS CDK to automate infrastructure management, ensuring repeatable and efficient cloud resource provisionin
• g.Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions using Grafana and Loki to ensure system reliability and performanc
• e.Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, frontend, and product teams to deliver cohesive, scalable, and secure application
• s.Automation & Optimization: Automate workflows and improve infrastructure and application performance, ensuring low-latency and high-availability system

s.Required Qualification

• s:5+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on cloud-native application
• s.Proficiency in Python for backend services and scripting task
• s.Extensive experience with AWS, including core services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and RD
• S.Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and microservices managemen
• t.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana and Lok
• i.Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CD
• K.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issue
• s.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional team

s.Preferred Qualification

• s:AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps) are a plu
• s.Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testin
