Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager/Product Owner with expertise in fraud prevention and risk-based authentication to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and managing products in the financial services industry, with specific experience implementing bank account verification solutions through Plaid.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for fraud prevention and risk-based authentication solutions.
• Utilize market research and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new feature development.
• Work closely with engineering teams to prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business objectives and customer needs.
• Define and prioritize user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry regulations.
• Lead the execution of product development projects, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success, iterating on features and functionalities to optimize performance and user experience.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on fraud prevention and risk-based authentication, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Stay informed about industry developments, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting fraud prevention and authentication solutions.
• Primary Skills
• Qualifications: – Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus. – Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role, with a focus on fraud prevention and risk-based authentication in the financial services industry. – Extensive knowledge of risk-based authentication methodologies, with hands-on experience implementing solutions leveraging LexisNexis for identity verification and risk assessment. – Experience with implementing bank account verification solutions through Plaid is preferred. – Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights to drive product strategy and decision-making. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. – Proven track record of leading successful product development projects, from conception to launch, in a fast-paced, agile environment. – Ability to work autonomously and make strategic decisions with minimal supervision. – Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards and industry regulations governing fraud prevention and authentication in the financial services industry.
