We are looking for a skilled and experienced MERN Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack web development, with proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js (MERN). You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-performance web applications, as well as ensuring the security, scalability, and responsiveness of these systems. The role requires expertise in state management, database handling, cloud services, and the ability to work collaboratively within an Agile environment. Additionally, strong communication and mentorship skills are essential to support the growth and development of junior developers within the team.

Technical Skills:

MERN Stack Proficiency:

Strong experience in developing web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js (MERN).

In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, including ES6+ features.

Frontend Development (React):

Proficiency in React.js, including hooks, state management, and component lifecycle.

Experience in building responsive and adaptive web designs using modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or Material-UI).

Backend Development (Node.js & Express):

Experience in building RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.

Ability to design and implement robust and scalable backend architectures.

State Management:

Proficiency in using Redux, Redux Toolkit, and Redux Persist for effective state management in React applications.

Database Management:

Expertise in working with MongoDB and Mongoose for database management.

Familiarity with database optimization, indexing, and queries.

Authentication & Security:

Experience with implementing authentication using JWT, OAuth, and session management.

Knowledge of security best practices, including data encryption, secure APIs, and input validation.

Version Control:

Proficiency in Git and GitHub for version control.

Experience managing repositories, pull requests, branching, and merging.

Cloud Services & Deployment:

Experience with deploying MERN applications on AWS or other cloud platforms.

Responsive Design:

Expertise in creating mobile-first, responsive web applications that deliver an optimal user experience on both desktop and mobile devices.

Debugging & Troubleshooting:

Proficiency in identifying performance bottlenecks, debugging, and troubleshooting complex issues in both frontend and backend systems.

Software Design Patterns:

Understanding of common design patterns such as MVC in the context of web development.

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC):

Knowledge of SDLC stages, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Agile Methodology:

Familiarity with Agile practices such as Scrum, and ability to work in an iterative and collaborative development environment.

Soft Skills:

Communication:

Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and provide constructive feedback to junior developers.

Mentorship:

Experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers, providing technical and professional growth support.

Teaching:

Capability to assess junior developers’ progress and adapt teaching methods to enhance their learning experience.

Problem-solving:

Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and devise efficient solutions.

Team Collaboration:

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including frontend and backend developers, designers, and project managers.
