Job Description:

                                                 Senior Project CoordinatorApex Systems is a global IT services provider and our staffing practice has an opening for a PCO to place at our client, a Big Five Bank.
Client: Big 5 Bank
Terms: 4 Months Contract. Option for contract extension. 37.5 hours per week
Start Date: November 4, 2024
Location: Flexible. Ideally 1-2 days in office. If geographically distant can discuss remote. Application Process: It is best to apply via the medium you see this posting
Interview Process: One round of interviews with the client.
What you’ll be doing
Supporting Project Managers within the line of business on critical regulatory project.  
Tools Used: Clarity, Excel, Service Now – Candidates should be well versed with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) and familiar with the principles of record keeping systems, such as Clarity and ServiceNow, such as how to create records, extract data, etc.
Description:
Supports Project Managers in the effective management and control of projects, principally in the areas of project planning, project monitoring and control, and integrated project management (MS Project, Excel, Clarity).
Manages assigned aspects of the project lifecycle and works with relevant project stakeholders as directed by the program manager
Assists in the planning, preparation, and maintenance of project team schedules, documents work plan updates, maintains project issues logs and databases. Escalates early warning signs and deviations from the plan to the project manager
Performs various project administration tasks, including coordinating meetings, taking meeting minutes, forwarding communication releases, and performing maintenance of project tracking logs (i.e., issues, change control, etc.
Minute Taking, Follow Ups on Actions Items, help in preparing presentations, documentation
Must Haves: 
Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and postsecondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Banking Experience
Strong Financials – Clarity.
Experience Supporting IT Waterfall Projects
Ability to take meeting minutes/action items, prepare presentation decks.            Following up on same with Business and Technology stakeholders. Supporting IT PM on Clarity financials and Status Reports. Lots of follow-up, collecting information, uploading documents to SharePoint site. Will work closely with IT PM.
Skills/Tools: Excel (pivot tables nice to have), SharePoint, Clarity, Microsoft Teams.
Strong Verbal & written communication skills – In-depth
Roll up Your Sleeves, Self Sufficient and “Driver” Attitude 
Previous experience alleviating a PM while project is in red. Can run minutes independently as needed.
