LOCATION: Remote (in the United Kingdom)

SALARY: £40,000 + £5,000 annual bonus

SETTING: Office based with two days a week working from home

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Online UX and Merchandising Manager. The purpose of the role is to develop and enhance XMA’s online business, with the vision to create an outstanding customer experience. You will create and execute online merchandising strategies and drive revenue through campaigns and promotions. You will deal with the visual merchandising functionality, use data insights and customer engagement KPIs to meet or exceed conversion, AOV targets and grow business.

To be successful you will have strong experience using CMS tools and good google analytics experience. You will also have a strong understanding of ecommerce.

JOB SPECIFICATION: Online UX and Merchandising Manager

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Driving standards to achieve a best-in-class onsite strategy and deliver across the entire customer journey, putting our customers first
  • Planning and execution of online campaigns, promotions and value proposition led merchandising strategies, with the goal of optimising the customer experience to increase sales, improve conversion rates, and decrease bounce rates
  • Creation, curation, and optimisation of customer journeys to maximize learning and buying for our customers
  • Implementing online merchandising tactics such as cross-selling, upselling, and product bundling to increase average order value and maximize revenue
  • Strong project management over a variety of tasks with varying deadlines and priorities. Includes sharing the plans to relevant stakeholders. Knows how to manage time and get things done in a fast-paced environment
  • Developing insight-driven narratives with sound recommendations and solid action plans
  • Assessing, proposing and implementing innovative ideas for growth
  • Key user of google analytics for reporting and analysing web data and develop outcomes that optimise conversion rates
  • Knows how to develop statistically significant test and learn initiatives to gain insights and make improvements on site

REQUIREMENTS: Online UX and Merchandising Manager

We are looking for someone with experience in planning, executing, measuring and optimizing ecommerce site merchandising, with an ability to create optimal customer experiences to drive revenue.

Other skills expected include:

  • Ability to work across a variety of tasks under pressure. Knows how to manage time, prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Strong project management of complex projects with attention to detail and ability to execute with precision
  • Commercial experience with a track record of delivering sales growth
  • Experience working with web analytics, ability to analyse data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions that turn it into actionable outcomes
  • Passionate about the customer experience, with a strong interest in understanding and impacting customer behaviour
