Lead Data Devops Engineer (Remote)

You will be responsible for projects end-to-end—from conception to operationalization—demonstrating a deep understanding of the Data DevOps aspects. You will be expected to provide technical vision and guidance to your team, making strong communication skills essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the development, deployment, and operationalization of solutions within AWS
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, ensuring best practices and efficient development workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based solutions
• Drive continuous improvement in automation, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure scalability
• Lead the team of engineers

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in DevOps, software engineering, or data engineering
• 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
• Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, specifically: Networking, IAM, S3, KMS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS and DymanoDB
• Proficient in Python, shell scripting, and SQL for automation and task execution
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD infrastructure, preferably using Jenkins or similar tools
• Strong familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other container orchestration tools
• Familiarity with principles of solution architecture and technical design
• Effective communication skills, both with technical teams and stakeholders
• B2+ English level proficiency

Nice to have

• Experience with SageMaker and Bedrock
• Experience with Apache Airflow
