Refyne is a vibrant, rapidly expanding mortgage broking company specialising in securing mortgages for investors. As the in-house mortgage brokers for Search Property, Australia’s leading buyers’ agency, with a vision to expand and scale, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lending Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day operations and support the CEO in strategic initiatives.

Overview

The Lending Operations Manager will play a critical role in managing the operational functions of the business whilst working closely with the CEO to drive growth, scale, improve established processes, work on continuous operational improvements and manage the smooth running of the day to day office function. This role requires a blend of leadership, operational excellence, and strategic thinking, making it an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Duties of the Role:

• Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the lending and mortgage process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations;
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the team, fostering a high-performance culture that emphasises collaboration, continuous improvement and accountability;
• Process Optimisation: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce bottlenecks and improve customer experience;
• Risk & Compliance: Ensure that all lending activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies, mitigating risk while maintaining high standards of service;
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO to develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at scaling the business, entering new markets, and expanding product offerings;
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure smooth execution of lending operations and effective communication;
• Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular reports and insights to the CEO on operational performance, client metrics, and market trends to inform business strategy; and
• Technology Integration: Leverage technology and software tools to streamline operations, improve data management, and enhance overall business performance.

• Experience in residential lending operations;
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role;
• Leadership and team management skills;

• Drive growth and innovation; and
• Experience with Broker Engine and lending platforms.
