Our client is a global consultancy and inspection company specializing in commodity services, including quality assurance and testing in various industries such as minerals, energy and metal products.
Job Description
- Deliver value by driving sales to secure new clients and projects, supporting revenue targets and business growth in Indonesia and the Asia Pacific region.
- Oversee daily sales activities with potential and current clients to enhance customer satisfaction and meet business goals.
- Conduct regular visits to promote services, strengthen relationships, identify new opportunities, and finalize deals.
- Participate in client and industry events to stay informed about market trends and competitive developments.
- Collaborate with global and regional sales teams to ensure effective implementation of sales strategies, service delivery, and client satisfaction.
- Assess customer needs, understand service capabilities, and manage expectations for service delivery and performance.
- Assist in responding to client inquiries and preparing business cases for capital investments.
- Contribute to strategic planning, including three-year plans, annual forecasts, and quarterly reviews.
- Provide regular management reports on sales pipeline, financial forecasts, pricing suggestions, and market updates.
The Successful Applicant
- At least 5 years of proven sales experience in the mining industry, including TIC/Surveyors, Commodities Traders, or Miners.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, selling, and negotiation skills to meet business targets.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities for developing unique sales strategies.
- Technical knowledge or experience in Commodities Trading and Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) services.
- Capability to analyze complex problems and create integrated, creative solutions.
- Proficient in gathering data, compiling information, and preparing reports.
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities effectively.
- Ability to lead, supervise, and train employees while managing work assignments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field, with experience substitutable on a year-for-year basis.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, with a valid passport and ability to obtain necessary visas.
