Senior Software Engineer (Remote)

We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer with technical leadership skills to join our Platform SuiteScript team. Working with other engineers and product managers, you will contribute to enabling our customers, partners and internal services to build new experiences and extend NetSuite on top of our platform.

The team is part of the SuiteCloud Platform, a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) for customizing and extending NetSuite’s core capabilities, and a key driver of NetSuite’s success in meeting the needs of our broad customer base. Customers build on the platform directly or install SuiteApps built on the platform by independent solution vendors. The team currently has members based in Philippines, Spain and Czechia.

Responsibilities

You will be working on the design and implementation powerful APIs that enable platform developers to interact with NetSuite and to build rich UI experiences. You will also be working on solutions that monitor the performance of the platform customizations. You will be developing in Java, JavaScript and TypeScript, and will be thinking about clean code, versioning, tooling, testing and architecture.

Our Platform is used by more than 40k companies around the globe with many different requirements, so our solutions should be generic enough for anyone to use them and fulfill their needs. Are you ready for the challenge?

You will work closely with other development teams and departments, product management, user experience, documentation and QA to define and implement new product offerings while ensuring the continued functionality of the existing SuiteCloud Platform.
