Perm Senior It Project Manager (Remote)

• Manage deadlines, scope, resource allocation and planning, and budgets for IT projects.
• Lead projects related to software engineering, web, and mobile application development in Agile and Waterfall method.
• Handle multiple projects, juggling sometimes competing priorities.
• Participate in Global/International projects, taking charge of implementation, changes, and upgrades for the Japanese market.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and extensions early on.
• Keep stakeholders and management up to date on the progress.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of project management experience in application development & implementation.
• Proficiency in Agile development.
• Experience with web front-end/back-end and native application development projects.
• Ability to lead projects involving multiple departments and markets, and including onshore and offshore teams.
• Strong technical understanding and delivery lead experience.
• Fluency in both English and Japanese for effective communication (business level or above).
• Please note that the company can only select those who are eligible to work in Japan at the time of application.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in retail or e-commerce is a huge plus.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira.
• Knowledge of cloud operations, particularly Azure.
• Understanding of security requirements within the system development processes.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision (the company works from home a lot).
