Job Purpose

EFS are seeking an experienced and strategic Digital Marketing Manager to spearhead our digital marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of all of the main digital marketing disciplines and a proven track record in developing, executing, and optimizing multi-channel digital marketing strategies.

The Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and external marketing consultants to help shape our digital marketing strategy by enhancing our online presence, drive brand awareness and increase customer acquisition and retention.

We are seeking someone comfortable with performance tracking, reporting against KPIs, analytics, a good grasp of commercials and ultimately a ‘can do’ attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Help create and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy across various channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email, content marketing, PPC, display advertising, etc.) aligned with business goals.

  • Campaign Management: Responsibility for the planning, execution, and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery, budget management, and ROI optimization.

  • Data & Analytics: Monitor and analyse the performance of digital marketing activities, leveraging tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements.

  • Content Strategy: Develop and manage a robust content marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall brand message and audience engagement across digital channels.

  • Social Media Marketing: Oversee the social media strategy and execution, ensuring consistent brand messaging, community engagement, and paid social media campaigns.

  • Email Marketing: Create and optimise email marketing campaigns, focusing on customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through effective segmentation and personalisation.

  • Partnerships & Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and agencies to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives, including web development, creative design, and media buying.

  • Brand Guardianship: Ownership and maintaining of branding and brand guidelines across marketing channels, including monitoring the brand reputation typically via customer reviews and digital content relating to the brand.

  • Innovation & Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies, applying innovative solutions to stay ahead in the competitive landscape.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • You will have proven experience of all the main digital marketing disciplines.
  • You will be able to think strategically and will possess effective planning and analysis skills to manage service delivery.
  • You will be comfortable performance tracking, reporting against KPIs, with a good grasp of commercials.
  • You will have excellent relationship management, influencing and presentation skills.
  • You will have the presence and credibility to work with senior colleagues.
  • You will be comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.
  • You will be confident working with data and possess analytical skills allowing you to obtain insights from data (proficient with Excel and GA4).
  • You will be able to think creatively and be customer focused in your decision making.
  • You will be highly organised and able to manage a broad portfolio of activities.

Desirable:

  • Financial services background is desirable but not essential.
  • Higher education is preferable but not essential.
  • You have a recognised marketing qualification.
