Job summary

The Shared Platform Team at NetApp is responsible for building industry “best-in-class” platforms for Enterprise Storage and AI. We are responsible for delivering a set of shared platforms and services that innovate to power the storage and data management needs of Fortune 500 companies spanning enterprise and cloud deployments. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help drive strategy and execution of NetApp’s ONTAP and ONTAP Software Defined solution offerings for strategic on-prem partner engagements.
In this role, the candidate will engage with customers, partners, engineering leaders and field experts to understand their needs, market conditions, customer experience and related personas and then deliver the roadmap for the relevant product features.
This role reports to Director, Product Management in the Shared Platform team.


Job requirements

  • 10+ years of product management, product marketing, business consulting, or business operations related relevant experience.
  • Experience in defining product line roadmap and strategy
  • Inbound and outbound Product Management experience
  • Proven leadership in working cross functionally with engineering, sales, legal, finance, and marketing teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others internally and externally
  • Ability to analyze data, problem-solve, and scope business requirements
  • Decompose technical propositions into straightforward solutions
  • Experience creating B2B service offerings that cater to a wide audience
  • Experience working in the Enterprise Storage and data management industry, familiarity with NetApp and competitors is a plus
  • Experience in networking, protocols, security, edge-cloud infrastructure domains is a plus
  • Experience in OEM projects is a plus
  • Experience in AI/ML is a plus


Education

Bachelor’s degree required. Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred and/or, relevant experience.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is $185000 – $260000. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
