Requirements Manager For Defense Projects (Remote)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Requirements Manager to join our high-caliber team in a fully remote capacity. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to defense projects, ensuring the efficient delivery of mission-critical IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of requirements, ensuring that both hardware and software systems align with established criteria throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement configuration management processes, utilizing advanced tools to monitor and control source code, hardware baselines, and configuration modifications.
• Identify and enact improvements in organizational configuration management processes to enhance overall efficiency.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to requirements and compliance with industry standards.
• Manage and support multiple software and hardware projects concurrently.
• Oversee configuration management of information systems within our client’s data center.

Required Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in requirements management and/or configuration management.
• An active Secret clearance is mandatory.
• Technical proficiency in configuration management tools such as Git, Subversion, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, or other comparable platforms.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices, including ITIL, ISO 20000, and IEEE 828.
• Strong grasp of version control systems and revision management processes.
• Capability to manage software builds, releases, and deployment processes across various environments.
• Proficiency in documenting configuration procedures and generating comprehensive reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Over 8 years of proven experience in requirements management and/or configuration management.
