Sales Development Representative | Eventcombo | India
Sales Development Representative is responsible for growing the company’s revenue through prospecting and relationship building. Eventcombo is looking for a self-motivated go getter who can initiate and close multi-year deals and/or partnerships with decision-makers from Directors to C-level. The ideal candidate would have played a similar role in another community-driven product company. You must be super-competitive, high-energy, entrepreneurial, and experienced in the enterprise software landscape.
You must have a deep, cultural understanding of and background in the event ecosystem, now and where it is headed in the future, and have a vision of how to attain a leadership role for yourself in this ecosystem.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and execute strategies to initiate conversations with target buyers
- Identify new opportunities for strategic partnerships
- Go hunting on LinkedIn, Email, marketplace for new prospects
- Perform product demos with qualified prospects
- Produce estimates and contracting
- Build excellent, long-term relationships
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to strategically announce new products and features
- Refine and communicate Eventcombo’s brand and messaging with the marketing team
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years in growth, ideally with experience in B2B SaaS technology
- Must have knowledge of various tools for data gathering, authentication, and email campaigns (e.g., Apollo, Instantly.io, DeBounce etc.).
- Must be familiar with domain warming and the tools used for it.
- Must understand email sending best practices
- Experience at early-stage companies or building growth operations and you know what it takes to build the growth strategy and tactics from ground up
- Recent and significant experience closing multi-year deals with multiple decision-makers from Directors to C-level
- Must be able to design, meet, and manage a plan – someone very strong on strategy and execution
- Outstanding analytical abilities and robust market and customer research skills
- Relentless focus on our customers and their success
- Experience managing go-to-market plans to drive financial and business goals
- Excel and Powerpoint a must
