JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced computer vision engineer who relishes a challenge within a startup environment in the gaming and live-streaming space. As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing computer vision algorithms and models to analyze and extract meaningful data and information from images and video data from live-streams. You will take responsibility for the current computer vision architecture, develop new models and work with our full stack engineers to increase Uncanny’s compatibility into new games, features and product lines. Additionally, you will contribute to the research and development of cutting-edge computer vision technologies and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field. This is a full-time remote role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Apply machine learning work for video analysis: training, updating, debugging, monitoring, and deploying computer vision models in the live-streaming gaming industry. 

Develop data pipelines for gathering, training, and refining models

Work with our team to create new computer vision models to analyze video streams and create new broadcasting triggers, including new games.

QUALIFICATIONS & QUALITIES

• Strong background in Computer Vision
• Experience in Computer Science and Cloud Computing
• Proficient in Data Science and Image Processing
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and frameworks for computer vision tasks
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, and Java
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, OpenCV and PyTorch
• Ability and have the drive to work independently and remotely
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will be asked to pass a EFL English Proficiency Language test as part of the application process, to be provided.
• Ability to learn and take responsibility for an existing, functional and in-production CV code-base
• Be up to speed on the newest and best models for computer vision, object detection and time series
• Bonus: Background in gaming/esports/entertainment/broadcasting
