Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Interim Senior Accounting Manager with a robust audit background from a Big 4 firm. This integral position will involve facilitating year-end closing processes, coordinating audits with Ernst & Young (EY), and overseeing financial reporting for our fund finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2-5 years of total accounting experience, with at least 3 years in an auditing capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead year-end close processes and audit coordination
• Oversee financial reporting for funds and ensure compliance with documentation standards
• Collaborate with the fund accounting team and fund administrators to address any discrepancies
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial reports for investors
• Support operational and technical accounting initiatives, including fair value assessment and waterfall modeling

Required Skills

• Proven experience in audit from a Big 4 firm
• Proficient in Excel and strong communication skills
• Familiarity with private equity fund accounting and real estate investment principles
• Knowledge of nuanced accounting practices, such as fair value accounting and capital call management

• 2-5 years of comprehensive accounting experience, with a focus on audit roles
