Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Scientific Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for crafting and executing comprehensive marketing strategies while driving business growth initiatives. You will work closely with the Koonkie team to develop and implement strategies that enhance our market presence, engage with key stakeholders, and expand our business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to enhance Koonkie’s brand presence and market position.
• Create and manage editorial and content calendars for various media platforms, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
• Design and produce marketing content that effectively communicates Koonkie’s value proposition and engages our target audience.
• Refine a brand style guide that captures the essence of Koonkie’s voice and mission.
• Analyze campaign performance activities, making data-driven adjustments and proposing new strategies as needed.

Skills and qualifications

• Proven expertise in marketing for biological sciences (minimum 3 years experience).
• Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with content management systems, web analytics (including Google Analytics), project management softwares, and other relevant software.
• Experienced at generating effective marketing collateral across multiple channels, including email and social media, content marketing, and using SEO.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including goal-setting, project scoping, and deadline management.
• A minimum of a post-secondary degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Science Communication, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Experience working with biological or genomic data is an asset.
