Project Coordinator (Remote)

Alpenglo Digital is a forward-thinking digital marketing agency specializing in creating personalized digital customer journeys, particularly for Spanish-speaking markets in the United States. We are expanding our team to include a skilled Project Coordinator who will work closely with the account management team.

Role Overview

We seek a Project Coordinator with 2+ years of experience in project management. This individual will manage digital marketing projects, ensuring client expectations align with contractual obligations and managing change orders as necessary. Experience in MarTech, content creation, email marketing, web development, podcast promotion, paid media, SEO, and YouTube advertising is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee digital marketing projects for clients, utilizing a Kanban-style project management tool (Trello).
• Be the direct point of contact for the client’s internal marketing team. Be prepared to answer internal client questions, attend weekly update meetings, and provide project updates and reports.
• Develop and monitor project plans and timelines, committed to proactively ensuring projects and tasks are delivered on time and within scope.
• Collaborate with internal teams (SEO, Social Media, Content, etc.) to deliver high-quality marketing campaigns.
• Guide workflow creation and documentation of new processes and projects
• Build out templates for everyday tasks or projects that are assigned regularly, with the ability to keep those templates updated to our current best practices
• Develop and lead post-mortem project and campaign conversations to identify what went well in each project and what improvements should be implemented. Utilize this knowledge across client accounts to improve project management.
• Attend client and internal meetings to identify action items and decisions made.

Qualifications

• Required experience: 2+ years in project management.
• Preferred experience: 1 year in a marketing agency environment.
• Language preference: Fluent in English. Spanish knowledge is a good to have.

Skills

• Proven experience managing projects in a digital marketing environment.
• Understanding of digital marketing channels like SEO, paid social, and websites.
• Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics or SEMrush.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Trello or Notion.
• Experience coordinating timelines and ensuring on-time project delivery.
• Skilled in creating project reports and communicating updates.
• Excellent note-taking skills to proactively identify action items during meetings.
• Ability to create workflows and processes to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Strong communication and collaboration with team members and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and organization.
• Adaptable to shifting priorities and skilled at solving problems quickly.
• Comfortable holding teams and clients accountable and escalating issues when needed.
