Position Overview: As a Digital Experience Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing digital solutions for organizations utilizing platforms such as M365, Power Platform, SharePoint, Omnia, and Powell. Your primary responsibility will be to consult with clients, understand their organizational needs, and translate those requirements into functional, user-centric designs that enhance internal communication, collaboration, and employee engagement.
You will be working closely with project stakeholders, business leaders, end-users, and IT personnel to ensure the solution aligns with company culture, supports business objectives, and is easy to use and navigate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements and understand their intranet goals.
- Design and configure custom intranet solutions using platforms like SharePoint, Omnia, and Powell.
- Design and configure custom digital solutions using platforms like Internet technologies, PowerApps, Power pages, form generation solutions, etc.
- Conduct user experience (UX) research and create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups.
- Lead workshops and training sessions to align stakeholders on the solution’s functionality and design principles.
- Ensure the intranet architecture supports seamless content management, document sharing, and communication.
- Provide ongoing support and consultation post-launch to ensure continuous optimization and user adoption.
Required Soft Skills:
- Empathy and Active Listening: Ability to deeply understand client needs, organizational culture, and user pain points.
- Excellent Communication: Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex technical concepts in a user-friendly way.
- Collaboration: Skilled in working with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and senior leadership, to deliver solutions that meet diverse needs.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust designs and recommendations based on changing client priorities or unforeseen challenges during project implementation.
- Problem Solving: Proactive in identifying potential roadblocks or user experience issues and devising creative, scalable solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing multiple client relationships, ensuring all stakeholder expectations are aligned throughout the project.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to user experience design, ensuring the intranet delivers a smooth and intuitive experience for all users.
- Leadership: Confident in leading workshops, conducting user training, and guiding teams through complex decision-making processes.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- User-Centric Mindset: Passion for designing intranet environments that prioritize ease of use and are tailored to the unique workflows of each client.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience designing and implementing intranet solutions on platforms like SharePoint, Omnia, and Powell.
- Proven experience designing and implementing digital solutions on mobile, desktop, applications and forms.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Familiarity with intranet governance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
