Sr Product Manager (Remote)

Remote with preferred locations: Camas, WA; Plano, TX; Tampa, FL for occasional on-site

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with a deep understanding of the Financial Services, Wealth Management, and Investment sectors, and experience in B2B/internal tooling. You will drive the development of innovative internal platforms and tools that empower financial professionals and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leveraging platforms like FactSet or similar to build strategic technical roadmaps that deliver value across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Roadmap Development: Develop and own a strategic technical roadmap for internal financial tools, ensuring alignment with business goals, technical constraints, and future scalability.
• Internal Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal teams across business, engineering, and operations to ensure product alignment with organizational needs, providing clear communication at all levels.
• Platform Integration & Support: Manage and support internal platform integrations (FactSet or similar), including troubleshooting, access management, and resolving system integration issues in collaboration with engineering.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate across departments to ensure successful delivery of new capabilities and internal applications, streamlining workflows and improving user experience.
• Production Support & Access Management: Oversee production support, managing user access and permissions, and ensuring the smooth functioning of internal tools and platforms.
• Metrics & Performance Tracking: Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure internal tool effectiveness, product delivery, and overall impact on business operations.
• Innovative Capability Building: Lead initiatives to identify, build, and launch new internal tool capabilities, staying ahead of industry trends and leveraging technologies like FactSet to enhance platform functionality.
• Backlog Management: Maintain a well-organized backlog of internal tool requirements based on stakeholder input, business value, and technical feasibility, prioritizing the most impactful features.
• Risk & Compliance: Ensure that internal tools meet regulatory and compliance standards within the financial industry, reducing risk and maintaining secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years of Product/Project Management experience, with a focus on the Financial Industry, Wealth Management, Investment sectors, and internal tool development.
• Platform Expertise: Experience with FactSet or similar financial platforms, understanding their integration and customization for internal B2B tooling.
• Technical Understanding: Strong grasp of system architecture, technical constraints, and the ability to engage in detailed discussions with engineering teams.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and drive product initiatives within a complex, cross-functional environment, ensuring product vision and business alignment.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to establish metrics and KPIs, leveraging data to optimize internal tool performance and inform decision-making.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical details to non-technical stakeholders and providing clear updates to all levels of the organization.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience managing internal B2B tooling or enterprise software for financial services.
• Familiarity with agile product development practices.
• Deep knowledge of investment platforms, wealth management tools, or financial technology (FinTech) solutions.
• Experience in managing complex platform integrations within a regulated industry.
