What the role involves:

As Manager, Marketing & Investor Relations, you will support RealFi’s efforts to build brand awareness and manage investor communication. As an integral member of the team you will work directly with, and report to, the Head of Capital Markets.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Marketing and Investor Relations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or investor relations, preferably within a financial services and/or technology-driven environment with exposure to emerging markets. This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing investor communications, and enhancing our brand presence.

While the role will be based at our Cape Town office, we operate on a hybrid basis.

  • Execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the company’s investment products and services.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Oversee brand development initiatives and ensure consistency across all marketing materials and platforms.
  • Manage external communications, including press releases, newsletters, and social media.
  • Establish and evolve relationships with current and potential investors through effective communication.
  • Create compelling content for presentations, marketing collateral, website, podcasts and investor communications.
  • Organise and coordinate investor meetings, conferences, webinars to promote the company’s vision and investment opportunities.
  • Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and investor relations efforts.

Requirements


Who you are:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, MBA or similar.
  • 3-5 years experience in an investor relations role or marketing in the investment management industry.
  • Ideally, personal or professional exposure to blockchain/web3.
  • Experience developing and implementing marketing strategies across multiple channels, especially social and digital, from advertising to social media to events.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to write and deliver reports and presentations in a way that can be easily understood by a wide audience, in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Experience of managing external agencies and suppliers globally.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience working with a budget.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and CRM (HubSpot preferably).
