We are a sales and marketing company that has been operating for 25+ years. Our company is comprised of a tight-knit group of intelligent, talented, and highly motivated people, and we are excited about the possibility of you joining our team!

THE OPPORTUNITY

We handle direct sales, online marketing, and telephone customer support for two major tool brands in the drywall finishing industry. This means we sell tools wholesale to traditional retailers, as well to end users through the brands’ websites, third-party marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, etc.), as well as over the telephone, SMS, and email. We are responsible for serving customers that include DIY’ers, remodelers, and professional drywall finishers across the United States and Canada.

In addition to selling the tools offered by these two brands, we act as the customer service front line for existing customers – assisting with online and B2C order inquiries, product issues (that we direct to in-house technical support teams), etc.

We have an opening for an additional sales/customer service representative to join our team.

WHY YOU ARE THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Before we get started, there is one major caveat… you MUST be fluent (spoken and written) in both English and Spanish. We work with customers across the United States and many speak only Spanish – so you will need to be comfortable communicating on the telephone, sending emails, etc. in both languages.

In addition to your strong language skills, you are:

– A quick learner. You are energized by working with other hardworking team members and enjoy the challenge of a dynamic environment.

– Organized. You will have a lot of sales opportunities in various degrees of completion.Performance driven. You are never satisfied with your past performance and always seeking for new opportunities for improvement and growth.

– Proficient with a computer. You are comfortable with a wide range of business tools, from Microsoft Office and Google Docs to Skype, WhatsApp, HubSpot and more. You can also pick up new tools quickly.

– Comfortable working remotely. You are excited by the opportunity to work from home, coffee shops, or any other location where a broadband Internet connection is available and the time zone doesn’t hinder your ability to meet your responsibilities. Our team works from all sorts of locations, and this flexibility is one of the major perks of working with us.

OTHER SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Although not required, ideally you have some interest/experience in the construction industry, and ideally, drywall finishing (yep, its a big ask :-).

LOCATION

Our only requirement is that you must be a Canadian citizen. Otherwise, we meet regularly, so we are ideally looking for someone based out of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. COMPENSATION

Ok, so what about the pay? This position offers a base salary plus an attractive commission. Combined, your income will be above market average – and based on reasonable performance goals. Perhaps more interesting is that we don’t believe in income caps… so your success will be driven by your skills and experience with no limits.
