The role

The purpose of this role is to drive innovation and growth within Auto & General by leveraging the power of data analytics and conversational AI. You will be at the forefront of architecting, designing, and implementing cutting-edge conversational AI solutions, contributing to a data-driven culture that enhances customer experiences, optimises business processes, and ultimately safeguards a brighter future for our customers.

The Role:

• Architect, design, and implement high-value conversational AI solutions that leverage emerging technologies.
• Gain hands-on experience in developing and deploying scalable conversational AI applications utilising large language models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and lead the implementation of tailored conversational AI solutions that meet their specific needs.
• Undertake data analysis and data engineering to extract valuable insights from vast data holdings, informing decision-making and optimizing key processes through conversational AI capabilities.
• Provide solution architecture advice and contribute to the ongoing development of technical and engineering practices specific to conversational AI.
• Lead initiatives from concept through to completion, taking ownership of end-to-end execution and ensuring successful deployment of conversational AI solutions.

What experience you’ll bring

• Strong experience in computer science and information systems
• Proven track record of leading real-world AI projects and teams within large and complex data environments . Experience with conversational AI technologies e.g. Dialogflow CX, highly desirable. (3+ years)
• Passion for machine learning and a strong desire to specialise in conversational AI, including Generative AI applications.
• Hands-on experience analysing structured and unstructured data using SQL (3+ years).
• Proficiency in Python or other programming languages. Full-stack development skillset highly desirable. (3+ years).
• Familiarity with workflow automation frameworks / technologies, including GCP Workflows, AWS Step Functions, etc.
• Experience in architecting, building and deploying high-performance data analytics solutions in cloud-based environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure (3+ years).
• Demonstrated experience in developing monitoring and evaluation pipelines to provide oversight and business confidence in quality of AI/ML outputs
• Ability to shape and execute work plans in a self-directed manner under limited direction, specifically in the context of data analytics initiatives involving iterative development and experimentation.
• Collaborative spirit with a strong desire to learn and grow within a dynamic team environment.
• A positive mindset, can-do attitude, and personal drive to take initiative in advancing conversational AI solutions.
