The company is a large Australian supplier of leading edge fire protection coatings for the steel, timber and concrete markets within the building and construction sector. The company is comprised of highly experienced BDM’s overseeing each state with a team of dedicated engineers providing support, technical advice and developing specifications. This company works predominately within the tier 1 and tier 2 market sectors across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The company runs a work from home mentality with this role being a Monday to Friday position with minimal time spent away from home.

The Role

My client is looking for an experienced BDM who is looking to join a leading company that gives you a very high degree of autonomy, to cover their entire Sydney/NSW market. This role will see you have the freedom to develop your market as you see fit. You will focus on generating new business by having a proactive approach to the market and chasing new projects and opportunities. Your product line will consist of specialised fire rated/fire protective coatings, where you will utilise your current fire protection product knowledge to increase sales and revenue for your area.

About You

• Current experience as a BDM or Territory Manager within fire protection products, coatings, equipment into tier 1 – tier 2 markets.
• Sound understanding of the fire protection market and the application process.
• Very experienced working within a highly autonomous role where there is minimal management pressure.
• Exceptional knowledge of the building and construction market.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• Able to form relationships with new clients and manage key accounts.
• Genuine drive and hunger for the fire protection market.

On Offer

• Base salary $120k – $130k (negotiable)
• Super 11.5%
• Fully maintained company car or car allowance
• All company tools of trade
• Bonus/Comission
