We are seeking talented Project Engineers to join our dynamic team as we continue to experience growth within the renewable energy sector, for both short-term and long-term assignments across multiple projects in NSW and QLD.Â
About the Positions
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and implementation of relevant discipline systems and solutions across a variety of projects.Â
Duties include:-
- Assisting with compliance to the documentation required under the contract
- Reviewing and planning the project with the Senior Engineer to ensure technical aspects of the job are understood and to become familiar with contractual obligations Â
- Liaison with the Construction Manager to ensure project schedule is maintained
- Provie support with technical engineering advice to subcontractors/suppliersÂ
- Overview the project from an engineering view point whilst maintaining an open and collaborative approach to problem solvingÂ
- Liaison with design and detailing houses as requiredÂ
- Providing support in the preparation of ITP’s and associated project specific procedures
- Risk and Hazard AssessmentÂ
- Assist with documentation control and filing system managementÂ
- Provide input for the preparation of monthly reportingÂ
About you:
- Formal qualifications in an engineering discipline (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) or construction management
- 1-5 Year’s experience in similar engineering roles on major projects within heavy industry
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and respond to changing business requirements together with excellent time management skills
- Ability to deliver quality work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with minimum supervision in a team environment to ensure deadlines are met
- High levels of interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact and collaborate with various project areas, management teams and external parties
- Sound computer skills with the ability to use MS Package and other relevant softwareÂ
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations and problem-solve
