Project Description:

Luxoft has one of the world’s leading Orchestrade practices. We are a top-tier Orchestrade Partner and a market leader in implementation, integration, upgrade, and migration.

We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered Orchestrade projects across all major asset classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, commodities.

The project is a Trading and Position platform Implementation for Commodity products.

You will be part of a Top Initiative for this commodity client.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work on several type of commodity products and learn a new trading platform.

You will have the ability to showcase the work directly to the End users.

The team is responsible for the integration of a trading application (Orchestrade) used for:

• Pre-deal origination workflow and post execution monitoring and life-cycle management.

• Dedicated workflow, configuration of the platform, supporting business

• Leverage strategic standard risk systems

• Integration with Operations, Finance

• Reporting, Reconciliation

• Accounting

The application is Orchestrade:

– Orchestrade is in .Net (C#): Natively connected to Excel

– Database: Microsoft SQL

– Delivered In-House or Hosted (Amazon Web Services)

You will be part of the development team responsible for the migration of the new trading platform.

You will act as a senior .NET developer.

Responsibilities:

A developer who will lead the implementation (development, unit-test, deployment) for this new trading application

As a team lead, the candidate will be managing a team of 3 resources,

The candidate will be defining the architecture, validate the quality of the code delivered and align with the other leads.

This is a great chance to learn the commodity industry, a new application and take part in its success.

The candidate will have a close cooperation with Product Owners, Software Architects and other Software Engineers.

He will be playing a role in establishing and maintaining the relationships of trust with our customers.

Mandatory Skills Description:

– Extensive experience with trading platforms

– Higher technical education in software development or equivalent work experience

– Extensive programming skills in C# and .NET technologies –

– Solid knowledge of database technologies – SQL

– Ability to deliver high-quality production code and meet deadlines

– Knowledge of agile methods (especially Scrum)

– Team player with high motivation

– Good written/oral language skills in English

– Open-minded in dealing with people

– Financial markets experience or commodity

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

– Dev Ops

– Cloud experience

– Understanding of investment banking – Credits, Equities, IRD, FX and Commodities
