Senior Mendix Developer (Remote)

This role involves working as a Senior Mendix Developer for Outtask on a high-profile project.

You’ll play a vital role in building innovative solutions together with the client.

Working from Spain, as a Senior Mendix Developer, you will be responsible for developing custom Mendix applications within a multidisciplinary agile team. You will collaborate with both business and technical teams, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of applications that address complex business needs. Your responsibilities will also include following best practices, sharing knowledge within the team, and ensuring high-quality application delivery. You’ll help build scalable and maintainable enterprise applications while thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

·        Develop and maintain Mendix applications that meet business requirements and support process efficiency.

·        Collaborate with product owners and team members in a multidisciplinary agile team to deliver necessary applications.

·        Work according to best practices and architectural guidelines set by the Mendix Competence Team.

·        Assist architects in designing applications, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

·        Share knowledge and collaborate with other Mendix developers to ensure quality and continuous improvement.

· Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications to improve performance and functionality.

Qualifications

·        A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.

·        3+ years of practical experience delivering Mendix applications, preferably in an international environment.

·        Mendix Advanced Developer certification.

·        Experience in hybrid cloud environments and a solid understanding of integration concepts.

·        Proficiency in Java/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, UI design, and integration technologies (REST, ODATA).

· Experience with mobile app development using Mendix React Native is a plus.
