WHY WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web3 Backend Developer to join Tobi and contribute to our web3 wallet project. In this role, you will focus primarily on backend development while also providing technical guidance to the team as needed. This position requires a strong understanding of web3 technologies and backend development practices.

YOU’LL DO

• Backend Development: Lead the design and implementation of backend solutions for the web3 wallet application, ensuring clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Technical Architecture: Contribute to the architecture and design of technical solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Integration: Integrate various web3 protocols and services into the wallet application, enhancing its functionality and user experience.
• Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in web3 technology and explore innovative solutions to implement in the project.
• Security: Implement robust security measures to protect users’ funds and sensitive information.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the reliability and quality of the wallet application through thorough testing and code reviews.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to deliver a cohesive product.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering their growth and development within the team.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, and familiarity with backend frameworks and technologies.
• Strong understanding of web3 backend development (experience in blockchain is a plus but not mandatory).
• Excellent English language skills — very important.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cryptocurrency wallets or financial technology projects is a plus.
• Understanding of user experience, balancing technical feasibility with optimal feature delivery.
• Experience with integration scenarios (dApp integration, etc.) to enhance developer experience.
• Leadership skills to guide and motivate team members when needed, even if not in a formal management role.
• Passion for the blockchain industry and a strong belief in its potential. Experience with other blockchains such as Solana or Ton is a plus.
