Senior Project Manager (Remote)

What You’ll Do:

• Able to work independently and identify, communicate tasks to execute
• Report on progress of project goals to various stakeholders
• Sets the vision for project, including establishing short- and long-term goals and objectives
• Creates a project strategy and roadmap and helps develop a communications strategy supporting project goals.
• Shows value in frequent and iterative deliverablesEstablishes metrics to measure outcomes
• Coordinates internal program reviews

• Provides thought leadership and consultation to help customers achieve their vision and goals
• Able to differentiate between client requirements and requests in order to deliver on effective program strategy
• Excellent oral and writing communication, interpersonal, storytelling, and analytical skills, including the ability to present concepts and complex technical material clearly and persuasively to colleagues, partners, stakeholders, and senior executives.

• Works closely with government components in a leadership role, effectively navigating and resolving conflicting priorities from stakeholders
• Provides excellent people skills with a focus on building relationships
• Communicates back to company Sr. Project Manager on contract status, results, and needs for the contract’s success

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8+ years of professional project management experience
• 3+ years as a lead project manager overseeing and managing large project management teams

• Delivering on projects from strategy through execution.
• Presenting and gathering buy-in on plans (strategic or communications plans).
• Flexible and adaptable to shifting requirements, unexpected issues, or external factors beyond control. Able to adjust plans and strategies accordingly to keep the project on track.
• Effectively manage relationships, understand stakeholder needs and expectations, and ensure that project goals align with stakeholder objectives.

Salary Range:

• Salary range is $140,000-170,000/year. The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors that influence compensation decisions, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
