We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our dynamic team in the tourism industry. As a Financial Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our tourism operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s goals and objectives.

Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to provide insightful recommendations for business decisions.

Monitor financial performance against budgets and report on variances.

Risk Management:

Identify and assess financial risks associated with tourism operations.

Implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Present financial information to executive management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.

Cost Control:

Implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency without compromising service quality.

Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure favorable terms for the organization.

Compliance and Regulations:

Stay informed about relevant financial regulations and industry standards.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and other legal requirements.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, such as operations, marketing, and sales, to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.

Provide financial guidance to support decision-making across various departments.

Cash Management:

Manage cash flow and liquidity, ensuring adequate funds are available for day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

Optimize cash management processes to maximize returns on surplus funds.

Financial Controls:

Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

Conduct periodic audits to assess and improve financial procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.

Proven experience as a Financial Manager in the tourism or hospitality industry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and budgeting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
