Responsibilities and assignments

As a SME Expert, you will:

• Work for a major client in the downstream and chemicals segment.
• Manage, as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), how the portfolio’s can be used within the client organization.
• Collaborate with software providers to define client requirements and ensure these needs are reflected in the providers’ product roadmaps. Hold vendors accountable to meet the timelines for delivering the required functionality.
• Assess the software usage within the client’s facilities. If applications are not being used as projected, analyze the reasons for these gaps and ensure that remediation plans are being implemented. Examples include setting up training for the users, getting client Super user support, eliminating roadblocks with IT issues such as slow application response times, addressing data quality issues, and managing product quality concerns.

Requirements And Qualifications

Requirements and Experience:

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Preferred Chemical Engineering degree or related experience.
• Strong experience in Refining or Petrochemical industries and Refining.
• Experience in Thermo Fisher portfolio.
• Experience in LIMS implementation projects.
• Experience with Sample Manager (Thermo Fisher).
• Fluent in English
